A PIECE of MILL VALLEY HISTORY
Our goal for this renovation was to honor the spirit of the original home, built at the turn of the century by a San Francisco Bay boat captain.
In collaboration with longtime Marin County architect James Coy, we had the pleasure of restoring authentic character to this historic property. The home required both structural and cosmetic updates, and the transformation is impressive. In the new custom kitchen, we introduced innovative storage solutions while preserving the home's traditional charm. A former sun porch was converted into a primary bathroom, completing a full primary suite, and the original basement stairwell was reimagined as a stunning main-level powder room. All of these changes were made within the home’s original footprint, turning a two-bedroom, one-bath home into a two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath home.
These thoughtful upgrades not only enhanced the livability of the home but also added significant long-term value.
